The 2012 Second Annual Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Summit is scheduled for October 5-7.
This Summit is a three-day program for pharmacists to become certified in and/or share experiences about MTM services while obtaining continuing education credits. We are very fortunate this year to have Linda Strand, PhD, DSc (Hon), scheduled as one of our keynote speakers.
The event begins on Friday, October 5, with an APhA-ASCP MTM National Certificate Training Program at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in Baltimore. Saturday, October 6, and Sunday, October 7, will feature continuing education sessions at MPhA Headquarters, 1800 Washington Blvd., in Baltimore, that include panel speakers and roundtable sessions geared specifically to MTM services in a variety of pharmacy settings. The Summit also includes a Networking Reception on Saturday afternoon.
Through this Second Annual MTM Summit, pharmacists will be encouraged to optimize medication use and improve public health. We hope to see you there!
